Mr. Krishankant Gupta, leveraging his service industry background and familial support from Gupta Bros, founded Heera Textile & Shri Krishna Silk Mills, marking the start of a successful venture in the textile industry.
Launch of Veekayem Textile Industry
The company expanded by launching Veekayem Textile Industry, introducing automation and rapier technology in its weaving unit to meet modern market demands.
Technological Advancement
Veekayem transitioned to Sulzer Projectile technology, significantly increasing production capacity to 300,000 meters per month and entering the export market, targeting the Middle East, Europe, Vietnam, and Latin America.
Increased Production
The company doubled its weaving capacity to 600,000 meters per month, facilitating collaborations with SMEs and further expanding its market reach.
Expansion into Garments
Veekayem ventured into garment manufacturing, initially producing 10,000 pieces per month. This capacity grew to 100,000 pieces monthly, with an annual capacity of 1.5 million pieces, thanks to a modernized, automated garment unit equipped with 650 machines.
